The “Official Bio”
If you do great work but struggle to explain it clearly, Jen Bullington is who you want on your team.As a storyselling facilitator, she helps professionals uncover the key stories at the heart of their business, clarify what truly sets them apart, and communicate it with confidence so ideal clients, partners, and teams immediately understand their value and are inspired to work with them.
Jen’s background in corporate training has given her insight into a massive and diverse pool of businesses, from giants like Nestlé and Kaiser Permanente to medium-sized businesses like Nextel that grew into powerhouses like Sprint.
She believes that everyone’s story matters and that learning to tell your personal and organizational stories in a compelling way is rocket fuel for every-sized business.
Above all, she adores the creativity and connection of drawing out business stories and — you guessed it — helping people write them. She also loves to train teams to reach their highest potential in sales and storyselling.
Outside of her passion for helping people and firms shine, Jen loves reading and writing cool stories, knitting, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. She recently transplanted from the West Coast to the East Coast, so there are plenty of new things to explore.
Jen is also the co-founder and guiding force behind the award-winning Writers In the Storm blog, which helps thousands of writers navigate the world of storytelling. Additionally, she ghostwrites for Forbes.
Why I love accountants.
After almost 20 years in corporate training, I wanted a change. That change came from the last place I’d have expected: a wonderful group of accountants!
I spent eleven of the best years of my career as a trainer and marketer for Brigante, Cameron, Watters & Strong LLP, a full-service accounting firm in Southern California. They hired me in the middle of a high-risk pregnancy, and never stopped showing me kindness. Accountants are quiet superheroes in my book.
